Hayden Christensen Set to Return in the “Ahsoka” Series

Back at the Disney+ Investor day, Star Wars fans got treated with so much news relating to series both animated and live-action for Disney+.

One of these series was Ahsoka Tano with Rosario Dawson returning as the title character from her live-action appearance in The Mandalorian.

According to the latest report from The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as the iconic Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader in the Ahsoka series, the latest Star Wars live-action series from Lucasfilm and Disney+.

Ahsoka Tano is a fan-favorite character who was a Jedi Knight who survived the dreaded Order 66 in the animation side of the Star Wars universe. As previously mentioned above, Rosario Dawson was cast for the live-action side of Star Wars making her debut in The Mandalorian season two.

While the official plot details are being kept under wraps, all that is known is that longtime Star Wars fan and creator Dave Filoni is writing the series and exec producing with Jon Favreau.

It is interesting to note that Ahsoka, similar to The Mandalorian is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, meaning after Darth Vaders death and Anakin’s return to the lightside. My theory is that this would most likely be a flashback to The Clone Wars (as noted we might see some in the Obi-Wan series).
