What I Liked

1. I love how the episode continues from the moment Barry and Iris get married. The duo, Bart, and Nora run back to 2049 where the future is the same until a green wave changes things and Jay’s helmet disappears and Jay is alive and well.

2. It’s great to see Eddie back on The Flash. I’ve always liked Eddie as a character and to see him return is amazing. I hope he can return more throughout the season or maybe as a certain villain.

3. Joe stops a thief from stealing jewelry and the thief drops the gun and it fires by mistake, Nora and Bart arrive and Bart is Bart and races in and saves Joe from being shot but created new events that affect the timeline. Jordan Fisher is truly capturing the personality of Bart Allen. It’s truly amazing to see.

4. The thing I love about having Bart on the series is that you can see the “rookie mistakes” that he makes, you can see with every moment that he is learning, training, and just straight-up becoming a better hero, like his sister, his father, and every speedster before him.

What I Disliked

1. Ok, so… While I did really enjoy this episode and that it did feel somewhat like a backdoor pilot to a spin-off series focused on Bart and Nora. I have to say the lack of “The Flash” was disappointing but in my opinion, wasn’t anything major.

Favourite Moment

My favorite moment was definitely witnessing Bart and Nora messing up and creating the Royal Flush Gang earlier than what it should have been and ending up with 30 people dying inside of a casino heist. While they are trying to save the timeline, they keep making mistakes. Bart goes to see Barry while he’s in the coma from the lightning and we get to see a really cool emotional scene between Nora and Bart.

Standout Character

It’s a hard choice as both Bart and Nora had equally great scenes, but I think I have to give this to Bart and this was a huge learning lesson for him throughout the episode.

Verdict

Overall a really cool time-traveling episode that showcased the siblingship between Bart and Nora and how they both made a mistake and had to learn to clean up after themselves. The episode had a great story and was fun going back to pre-season one Flash.
