Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2’s announcement date has reportedly been revealed.
While EA basically confirmed the sequel in an earnings call last summer, EA has mainly been quiet over the past few months, they did announce that more Star Wars games were in the works, click here to read the article.
Well, it seems like fans won’t have to wait long for more information on the highly-anticipated sequel as a reveal is reportedly coming during the Star Wars Celebration event in May. My guess is, May the 4th.
Jeff Grubb stated during an episode of the GamesBeat decides Podcast, confirming what many fans have been expecting.
While Jeff Grubb has a terrific track record for these sorts of things, fans should as always, take this with a grain of salt until an actual confirmation from Lucasfilm games or EA has been released.
“We’re gonna hear about that in May at Star Wars Celebration, is when that’s coming. So, keep an eye out for that, because that’s where it’s happening. One hundred percent,” said Grubb.
Grubb went on to say that he isn’t sure whether the sequel will release at the end of 2022, or in early 2023. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released in Q4 of 2019, so it’s possible the sequel could release around that same time of year.
Fans have been very patiently awaiting the return of Cal Kestis and the rest of the characters introduced in the first game, however, fingers crossed that an end is in sight and we finally get a reveal.
If the sequel does get revealed at Star Wars Celebration, it seems like a safe bet that the game will get a release window announced.
