What I Liked

1. I do really like how the series isn’t jumping straight into the connection between Soldier Boy and Mother’s Milk’s father. The tiny bits here and there is perfect to set up the story between the two. Really well done.

2. I honestly feel bad for A-Train. He knows he’s messed up in the past and he wants to change, you can see that in his scenes. Vought is not allowing this to happen, they are passing off his statements as some kind of promotional image.

3. Homelander is a smart guy. He found out about Victoria holding a press conference about him so he puts something into motion where Victoria exposes Stan and the crimes inside of Vought and says Homelander has become a whistleblower. Homelander seemingly becomes the head of Vought.

4. I honestly think Stan Edgar is the only person on Earth that Homelander is truly afraid of and I do not blame him one bit. Stan Edgar is not to be messed with in any way because they will regret it. I honestly get chills every time he’s in a scene.

5. The Boys break into a Russian compound looking for something or someone… they find a metal chamber but Frenchie annoys a hamster and the alarms go off and they get surrounded by soldiers, the hamster saves Frenchie by crawling into a soldier’s face because this is The Boys and the hamster has powers. Butcher uses his powers because they are pinned down. We get this epic slow-mo shot of Butcher using his powers, it’s then revealed that Hughie has also taken the Temp-V drug.

6. Butcher rips a metal hatch off the chamber… welcome back Soldier Boy. Mother’s Milk is visibly shaking with the sight of Soldier Boy, Soldier Boy uses his powers on Kimiko who doesn’t heal from her wound.

7. Homelander flies Starlight on top of a roof, he shows her the mangled dead body of her ex-boyfriend, Supersonic. He knows her plan, he knows everything because A-Train told Homelander. This is just another moment in the book of Homelander’s brutality.

What I Disliked

1. I absolutely despise The deep’s wife. She’s obviously working with Homelander to manipulate The Deep into agreeing with everything Homelander says, does, or announces. Even going as far as attacking A-Train because he called him out on his ass-kissing.

2. I understand that Hughie felt like he was back with every bully he’s ever had, and having to be saved by Starlight again felt humiliating but Temp-V is not the answer, he’s seen the effects it had on Butcher, the anger, the sickness, and withdrawals. This isn’t the answer.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment was the Kimiko scene, where she kills multiple people with a vibrating dildo. I love a Kimiko fight scene because you just know it’s going to be brutal, bloody, and amazing. She absolutely kills each scene she is in (pun intended).

Standout Character

The standout character this week I would have to give this to Homelander. He outsmarted a lot of people in this episode, as well as showed his brutality when the viewers saw the aftermath of him and Supersonic.

Verdict

Honestly, A great Homelander episode that showcased his intelligence and how easily he can outsmart people including Stan Edgar, not to mention how easy it is for him to kill someone. I disliked the storyline for Hughie taken Temp-V.
