Untitled WWII Captain America and Black Panther Game Announced at Disney & Marvel Games Showcase

With D23 Expo in full effect, Disney and Marvel Games delivered a short event showcasing a few games from Disney and Marvel.

One of these games is an untitled WWII-era Captain America and Black Panther game. While the title of the game is yet to be revealed, some details about the game have been released.

Skydance New Media is behind the game and it’s a narrative-driven, ensemble adventure game set in the Marvel Universe and features an original story that will take players on a WWII-era adventure with four playable heroes at different points in the story.

  • A young Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
  • Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather and the WWII-era Black Panther.
  • Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos.
  • Nanali, leader of the fledging Wakandan Spy Network.

Skydance New Media is helmed by award-winning writer and director Amy Hennig. This title marks the first initiative from the new AAA game studio.

As an avid gamer and a huge Marvel fan, this game has already piqued the interest in me. I want to know more about this upcoming game and if we’ll get any DLC because this opens the door for WWII-era Namor and Wolverine to be introduced.
