Season 1 Episode 5 – “She-Hulk discovers Titania owns the name “She-Hulk” and is suing her for trademark infringement.”

Please note, our reviews are based on likes and dislikes. These contain major spoilers. If you haven’t already watched the episode we would recommend that you click off the article, and come back once you have watched the episode. Enjoy!

What I Liked

1. I do like how they’ve changed the intro to the series to the one Titania uses to fully promote that Titania owns the name “She-Hulk”. I also like how it’s actually affecting Jennifer even if she says otherwise. Interested to see how it plays out.

2. I do like how Jennifer has simply gone a different route to get her “super suit”. A high-end designer and not just handed the suit by Bruce or someone like that, she’s actually had to go out and get mean compliments from the designer. Interesting move.

3. I do like how when Jennifer goes to pick up her suits, the designer shows a box that “shouldn’t” be left out. We see a yellow mask with devil horns… It’s nearly time for Daredevil.

What I Disliked

1. The CGI and VFX that is on She-Hulk while she’s in her office and wearing the suit needs to be FIXED. Every time we see her in her suit and in the office it just looks completely off. How can they let this continue?

2. An entire episode without action is a huge downgrade. This is the issue with She-Hulk, it needs more action. The lawyer stuff is fine, and the personal story for Jennifer is fine but She-Hulk needs action.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would simply be the court scene. I feel as though they could have dragged this out for 1 or 2 episodes but it was simply over within a couple of scenes.

Standout Character

Once again, I have to give this to She-Hulk. Simply the only interesting character in this episode.

Verdict

Honestly, I thought they would drag the courtroom storyline out for at least 2 episodes so I have to give them props for getting it over with quickly. I do like the little Daredevil tease they threw in there. However, the main letdown was once again the CGI and VFX and the ZERO action scenes. This is a major thing that lets down the rating for this series.
