The Flash is set for its final season in early 2023 which will showcase the end of the Arrowverse altogether.
According to multiple sources, Javicia Leslie has joined the cast for the final season, however, we’re unsure what her role will be.
Rumors are speculating that she could play Red Death. In the original comics, Bruce Wayne essentially absorbed Barry Allen resulting in a compelling villain.
Obviously, The CW doesn’t have the rights to Batman so it’s set to look like it’ll be Batwoman instead. I’m not sure whether this pays off, although if it is Red Death then I can’t say I’d be happy about it. As much as I love Javicia as Batwoman, I don’t think Red Death will pay off.
This cast also does come as quite a surprise considering The CW binned Batwoman’s show after an exceptional third season.
