What I Liked

1. The episode begins with two people who work in the prison Sam was being kept enquiring about the body in Sam’s cell. They look in the corridor and they see a ton of other dead bodies, they also find a tiny search which doesn’t bode well for Emma.

2. I love how relentless this universe is for their Supes. A supe dies and they immediately cover it up, go on about how much they spent on merch, and do shows about the supe, it’s madness.

3. Marie asks a student for help finding Emma, he uses his powers but asks Marie to come closer, we immediately get transported to the student’s room with him naked only in a robe, Marie is sitting on a beanbag in front of him, Jordan is knocking on his door distracting him while Marie literally causes blood to rush to the student’s private area, causing it to explode. WHAT DID I WATCH??

4. I love how easily Sam has taken to Emma, and how quickly he’s trusted her. It would be hard to have someone you don’t know come into your cell, kill someone, free you, and then stay with you. The two have bonded easily because they are both outsiders, both quirky and weird.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment came towards the end of the episode when Sam finds Dr. Cardosa at his home. Andre and the rest of the group arrive to help Sam. Sam begins to fight the group but it seems as though he’s too powerful for them. Emma grows huge and calms down Sam.

Standout Character

I’ll give this to Emma this week. Honestly, at this point, her development has been fantastic and she’s the only one who can calm Sam down.

Verdict

Overall a decent episode that shows the group fully coming together to realize the bigger picture. Seeing Emma being the only one able to calm down a huge threat like Sam is wonderful, her development as a character has been outstanding. The little to no action is what is hurting these episodes.
