What Could We Get As DLC In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

With a game like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, or something along those lines you will always get DLC. We got three DLCs for Spider-Man 1 with multiple updates which added more Spidey suits. Realistically, Miles Morales’s game could also be considered DLC as it was a smaller game compared to Spider-Man 1.

Now, with the release of Spider-Man 2 we know we’ll get DLC, but what exactly will we get for DLC?

Throughout the game, there were multiple side quests that built stuff up for future content that sort of needs answered ASAP. The Flame and the family of Kraven the Hunter. We’ll speak about the family of Kraven first.

Throughout the game, you had a quest that you needed to do. It was basically a hunt that Kraven was on he was pretty much hunting people. The more you did of this quest would reveal answers and then ultimately show you the massive reveal at the end of the quest.

The ending led you to a penthouse where you would arrive and be spoken to through a recorded message, and it would reveal Chameleon. The brother of Kraven. All he says is that he’ll finish what Kraven started.

This leads me to believe that Chameleon will be the main villain for the DLC that will ultimately come. Similar to Hammerhead, he’ll be the main focus of potentially three DLC packs if they follow the same formula as the first game.

Now, while that sounds like a decent DLC. The game also did start an interesting story that had no end but it could. Throughout the game, you would do missions with Yuri chasing after someone called “The Flame”.

Now, this was a cult-like thing that ultimately led you to a certain ginger villain in a Hawaiian shirt. This was the murderous villain Cletus Kassidy. He would pay the way to be a decent villain to both you and Yuri in the game and would end with him stealing a sealed red Symbiote.

Obviously with the game dealing with the likes of Venom and Scream, one can only assume that Cletus stole the Carnage symbiote. Now, would Insomniac Games allow a character such as Carnage to be in a small DLC story?

My guess is no, they wouldn’t. Someone like Carnage deserves to be a standout in the third game. While they still have a range of villains they could choose from for the third game, Carnage deserves to be a mainstay in that, although he couldn’t and most likely will not be the main villain.

On the off-chance that they will add Carnage into DLC, then it will immediately be an incredible piece of DLC and I can not wait to see what Carnage looks like in the game.
