Over the course of 2023, there have been many names and many “castings” for the characters within the Fantastic Four from Adam Driver to John Krasinski. The wait may finally be over, well, over for at least one member of the Fantastic Four.
With a deal far from being done, the rumor is that Pedro Pascal is in talks to play the leader of the Fantastic Four.
Insiders also add that scheduling is still being worked out, but multiple sources close to the negotiations are saying it is headed in the right direction. The Hollywood Reporter has said that Pedro’s involvement in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie will be dependent on sorting his schedule out with his roles in the Gladiator sequel “Gladiator 2” and “The Last of Us” season 2.
Marvel, like always in a situation like this, had no comment.
The other members of the team will most likely be cast quickly, as the hope is that the movie will shoot early next year so expect to see more castings soon.
Director Matt Shakman is currently in pre-production at Pinewood Studios in England. Marvel Studios legend Kevin Feige will produce.
