James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy movie continues to add actors to the cast sheet. After the news broke that Nicholas Hoult would be Lex Luthor, we now have Jimmy Olsen and Eve Teschmacher cast as well.
Skyler Gisondo has been cast as Jimmy Olsen. A photographer who works at the Daily Planet with Clark and Lois. Gisondo is best known for HBO’s “The Righteous Gemstones” and Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Licorice Pizza.”
While Eve Teschmacher will be played by Portuguese model Sara Sampaio. She’ll play the assistant-turned-love interest of Lex Luthor. This is a very interesting casting and hopefully, it will be a great portrayal.
While the details for the movie have been kept under wraps, there have been teases for the story that “focuses on Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way. He is kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old-fashioned.”
James Gunn is directing Superman: Legacy which will mark the first feature film with James at the helm of the studio.
It seems that even with a delay from the writers’ and actors’ strike, Superman: Legacy continues to head towards it’s release date.
