What I Liked

1. While playing on the beach, Betcha leads Omega to a cave where they find a cave. We get to see the return of Asaaj Ventress. A former dark side user. She wants to know why the Batch wants to know about the “M count”. Ventress explains that it’s something in the blood and the ones with more M count can use the Force.

2. I do like how Ventress is now testing Omega with the tests for the M count. Given how we know Ventress and her back story from making Wolffe lose his eye to giving Anakin Skywalker his famous scar over his eye.

3. I like how much Ventress has changed from The Clone Wars to now. Even though she’s still got that “badass” persona she has changed a lot. I do like how she stuck around to help Omega and Omega knows she likes the Batch. Honestly, I believe Ventress could make a good Jedi/Sith master.

4. Ventress accidentally summons a giant creature from the sea, it’s clear that she hasn’t used the Force in a while because of this mistake. Their boat gets tipped over Ventress manages to reconnect to the Force properly and manages to restrain and calm the monster.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

The Batch figures out who Ventress truly is which causes the trio of Wrecker, Hunter, and Crosshair to get into a fistfight with Ventress who easily rocks all three members of The Batch. The Batch manages to retrieve their weapons and open fire on Ventress but she brings out her yellow lightsaber and deflects all the blaster fire.

Standout Character

Honestly, Ventress is taking this one this week. She was great from the moment she appeared in this episode. I like how much she has changed too.

Verdict

Overall, a solid episode which felt like a filler episode but it still somewhat progressed the story. While there wasn’t much action in this episode, we still somewhat had a decent fight scene with Ventress and it is good to finally know Omega does have a high M count.
