Jeffrey Wright Joins The Last of Us Season 2 As Isaac – Reprises Video Game Role

In case you have missed it, Jeffrey Wright is the latest actor to join the highly loved series “The Last of Us” in season 2.

According to reports the actor has reprised his role as Isaac from the video game “The Last of Us: Part II”. The character is described as “The quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.

Jeffrey Wright joins the series leads Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as well as Gabriel Luna and Rutina Wesley.

New cast members this season include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny.

Catherine O’Hara also guest stars in an undisclosed role.

“The Last of Us” is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. Both have also directed episodes of the show and will do so again in Season 2.
