The long-awaited teaser for the new Superman movie has finally been released ahead of the full trailer tomorrow (19/12/2024).
The premise of the film goes as follows “The film explores Clark Kent/ Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his adoptive human family in Smallville, Kansas”.
The film comes from the mind of James Gunn which, after what he has done with Guardians of the Galaxy, I have full faith that this film will be just as good if not better.
The film sees David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as the fiercely intelligent Lois Lane. The film also sees Nicholas Hoult come into the role of Lex Luthor.
Edi Gathegi will star as Michael Holt / Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Max / Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. The cast is rounded out by Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
A full teaser trailer will be released tomorrow. The Superman movie is set for a July 11, 2025 release date.
