Another year, another Super Bowl! This event is always thrilling for us, primarily because of the trailers. We eagerly anticipated seeing some major spots, and this year was no exception. We didn’t get the opportunity to witness Fantastic Four’s first trailer as it was originally scheduled for the Super Bowl but was shown a few days ago.
Here, we will show each trailer to make clicking on each video easier.
1. Marvel’s Thunderbolts
Thunderbolts is one of the films I’m most looking forward to in 2025. It has a great cast with a lot of build-up in previous Disney+ shows such as Hawkeye and Falcon & The Winter Soldier. It pulls it all together and feels like a very fun movie with heaps of entertainment.
2. Superman
James Gunn’s first full movie project as DC lead. Superman sets the tone with the DCU being rebooted after an abysmal performance in recent years. How David Corenswet will do as the Man of Steel is yet to be seen but I am hopeful for a much better performance from DC moving forward. Even despite Marvel’s shortcomings since Endgame, they’re slowly getting back on the ball and I’m hoping for DC to do the same. As a superhero geek, we can never have enough.
3. Novocaine
Jack Quaid is a fantastic actor and is amazing in The Boys. He’s playing a similar sort of role in Novocaine as to what he does in The Boys except this time he’s the main star. I’m going to be honest, this wasn’t a film I had heard of up until the Super Bowl but it’s one of those movies that looks super fun. I’m genuinely looking forward to this one.
4. Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning
What may or may not be the final movie in the franchise, Tom Cruise is back again with his crazy antics and amazing stunts. Returning for the direct sequel to Dead Reckoning Part One, Cruise is back. Whether you hate or love these films, you can always count on one thing they deliver, some amazing action. This trailer is no different.
5. Lilo & Stitch
Lilo & Stitch is a live-action movie that will be debuting on the big screen on May 23. This short Superbowl teaser showcased Stich coming on the field to promote the release date of the movie. I know many fans are excited to see this movie.
6. How To Train Your Dragon
Everything I’ve seen from How To Train Your Dragon has been from the animated movies, I haven’t really looked or went out of my way to find anything in relation to the live-action movie but from watching this trailer, I do have to admit it looks like a fun movie.
7. F1
For someone who is a decent fan of F1, this movie is right up my alley. This film has some similar vibes to Rush just in a modern setting. Starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris this looks like a fantastic movie which I can not wait to see.
8. M3GAN 2.0
It took me a while to watch the first one as I firmly believed it was a full-on horror film. As you probably expected by reading that line, I am not a horror fan or do well with those films. After a brief Reddit post, me and my wife decided to give it a watch. It was more of a thriller that really set the tone and we enjoyed it. I wasn’t aware a second was coming but it does look great.
9. Jurassic World Rebirth
While the official trailer was released a few days ago, we got a smaller game spot at the Super Bowl that showcased more of the film starring Scarlet Johannsson. The film is one that I did not expect to happen this fast but I’m excited to see it nonetheless.
10. Smurfs
Smurfs was a surprising one, again, another film I didn’t know was even coming. I completely forgot Smurfs were a thing so it’s brilliant to see this is getting a brand new film. Of course, Rihanna being cast is going to draw eyes, and rightly so. It feels even better now because my son is 5 years old and I think he’ll love this and secretly, probably myself too.
