Invincible is having such a great run on Amazon Prime, it’s generally one of the best-animated shows out there and it keeps getting better and better after each episode, after each season. Generally in the future when this show ends, I’ll legit be sad.
It’s only a matter of time before they bring Invincible to either the big screen or a TV show and obviously this means live-action casting but who would be the best options?
Invincible – Ryan Potter
I watched Ryan in the Titans series and he was generally such a good addition to that cast. He portrayed Beast Boy, usually a complex character cause of the nature of his abilities. More recently, I watched him in the fan live-action Batman Beyond short movie and he was generally great, I think he would nail this role.
John Hamm – Omni-Man
John Hamm is a fantastic actor who could nail both the Nolan personality and easily make that switch to the evil Omni-Man for a time and then even make that switch once again to being a help in the Viltrumite war. John’s range in acting is what cements my mind on him for this role.
Seth Rogen – Allen The Alien
A character of Allen’s stature would most likely be a CGI character so I think having Seth provide the voice once again for Allen the Alien only makes sense. I don’t see and could not imagine anyone other than Seth voicing this character.
Andy Serkis – Battle Beast
Again, similar to Allen the Alien, to truly deliver Battle Beast you would need to have him as a CGI character but not only that, you need someone with a rich voice that sounds sort of menacing as well as posh, a little bit of an arrogant tone to it. The best example I could give would be Ceaser from the Planet of the Apes movies which is why Andy Serkis would be perfect.
Madelaine Petsch – Atom Eve
Atom Eve is the type of character that more than a few actors could portray. The one I really like is Madelaine. She was absolutely hilarious in Riverdale and Madelaine could truly capture the heart that is Eve.
Sasha Calle – Anissa
Sasha would be insane for this role. Say what you will about The Flash movie but in that movie, we saw a similar picture to what Anissa did in the show when she loses her cool. Sasha generally might be the perfect fit for Anissa.
Ming-Na Wen – Debbie Grayson
Within the show, Debbie is an underrated character, she’s generally a nice character but can hold her own in any argument. Ming-Na would be a perfect candidate for this role and would have amazing chemistry between her and Ryan Potter.
Tanner Buchanan – Rex Plode
I think Tanner would suit this role perfectly. Although I’ve only seen Tanner within Cobra Kai, he sort of had some personality traits that Rex had in that show. Tanner would be a badass live-action Rex, especially if we got the same scene from the animated show where Rex takes on the Lizard Squad before being shot in the head.
Hugh Jackman – The Immortal
The Immortal isn’t a character that I’ve thought about a casting for. This casting is one I recently saw that’s stuck with me and the more I’ve thought about it the more I actually really like it. Obviously, Hugh Jackman returned as Wolverine and could take that motivation and passion to take on this role and generally could make it his.
Walter Goggins – Cecil
Walter actually is perfect for this role. Especially coming off of the greatness that was Fallout. Walter is able to truly capture the essence of Cecil. Walter would be able to deliver a masterpiece with this casting. There is no one else that could truly portray Cecil.
