What I Liked
1. The detective that Murdock fought in the previous episode confronts Matt in the court toilet. I find it hilarious that people can not believe they have been beaten by a blind person who can fight, while this detective does not know Matt is Daredevil.
2. I love that we’re slowly seeing The Punisher come into this show. We know that The Punisher hates the Police using his symbol as their own so seeing all these Police officers and detectives having a Punisher tattoo symbol as some form of gang is truly amazing.
3. Anytime we see Matt in court, you know he’s about to get the truth out of anyone who takes the stand. Matt knowing that he has lost his “star” witness decides to expose Hector as the White Tiger in front of the jury.
4. Matt, being the amazing lawyer he is, manages to get Hector off on all charges. Hector, Matt, and the other lawyer all celebrate the win for Hector.
What I Disliked
Nothing to report.
Favorite Moment
While there were a few decent moments throughout the episode, my favorite moment came at the end of the episode when we saw Hector sitting up as the White Tiger with Fisk doing a monologue over the top of it speaking about vigilantes. We then see Hector take a headshot from someone dressed in all dark with a Punisher logo.
Standout Character
I’m going to give this to Matt. Seeing him just absolutely destroy the prosecutor in the courtroom scenes was amazing.
Verdict
I remember seeing before the show that the first 4 episodes were all lawyer/courtroom scenes with little to no Daredevil, this episode had a similar vibe to that as it was mainly a courtroom episode but it was needed. Seeing Matt in his realm, which isn’t Daredevil, and seeing him do what he learned to do with Foggy was really great.
