Black Widow Delayed By Disney – Date TBC

As we predicted just a few days ago, Disney has pulled Black Widow from its cinematic release. You can see our original article here.

Disney has confirmed this will not affect the timeline of the MCU, and everything should proceed as originally planned.

As of right now, we do not have a date going forward. I imagine Disney will keep this close to their chests until the coronavirus calms down.

We know a lot of stuff, including the infamous New Mutants, has been delayed, as has Mulan, and Antlers.

Other movies have also faced delays due for cinematic release, and rightfully so.

Fans are calling for Black Widow to be a Disney+ release, but we absolutely disagree.

Box Office Pro predicted a domestic opening weekend for Black Widow between $90m & $130m. We predicted $1b total, at least, as most MCU movies reflect this.

Plus, a Disney+ exclusive for this movie would only create more piracy than normal – further fuelling a loss.

I love the cinema, so I’m happy to wait for COVID-19 to calm down so I can enjoy the experience properly.

What’re your thoughts on the whole situation? Let us know down in the comments below.
