Season 6 Episode 16 “After Black Hole hires Rag Doll to kill Joe, Singh suggests he go into the witness protection program; Ralph runs into Sue; Iris becomes suspicious of Eva.”
What I Liked?
1. I really liked how Carver isn’t afraid to kill anyone who gets’s close to him or does wrong to him. He’s evil and his wife Eva is also evil and it seems like they both fighting each other and Joe and The Flash are trapped in the middle.
2. Finally, Joe is getting an episode based around him after just being reduced to a cameo/speaking role. I love the fact that even though he’s the captain now he’s still willing to go on the front line.
3. Ralph and Cisco decide to team up and go after and try to stop Sue. They fail to spot her at a bank event and she gets away with billions. Ralph later tracks her and kind of gets through to her. You can tell that Ralph and Sue will end up together.
4. Joe leaves his CCPD badge behind and goes to confront Carver who slips up then admits to Joe he had hired someone to kill him. Joe records this but Carver uses an EMP to get rid of it. Rag-Doll then goes after Allegra, Nash, and Cecile and Captures Cecile.
5. Eva’s plan doesn’t just include a mirror-Iris and Mirror-Kamile, Eva also has a mirror version of Chief Singh as well who no-one knew about. When did she take him?
What I Disliked?
1. Barry using his speed for unnecessary reasons. As well as using his Speed to save Joe but even still Joe gets shot in the arm.
2. Barry has claimed to love Iris all his life but fails to realize she’s telling him to use his speed and get rid of it. How does he not realize something is wrong?
Favorite Moment
Rag-Doll puts Cecile on a bomb, If she moves it’ll explode so Joe rings Allegra and Nash to ask for help however Rag-Doll has planned for this so Joe quickly moves Cecile and takes her place on the bomb but the timer has taken a minute off of the time. Barry uses his speed to get Cecile away but Joe manages to free himself and agrees to go into the witness protection program.
Standout Character
Joe West is fully deserved this week’s standout character, Huge episode for him.
The Verdict
An episode focused on Joe felt like a filler but I was totally fine with it. It’s been a long time coming for Joe to get some standout moments and he shined this episode. Eva is a pretty impressive character, she’s planned for stuff and even managed to replace Singh with a mirror version.
