Agents Of SHIELD “From The Ashes” Review

Season 6 Episode 11 “Out of answers and running out of time, the agents must face the ghosts of their past to move forward.”

What Was Good?

1. Yo-Yo awakens on the plane with her hands covered in blood, she looks around to see Mack beaten up telling Yo-Yo what Izel is looking for which leads Yo-Yo to say Vincents name which then is revealed Izel is taken over Mack.

2. May is trying to make Sarge remember who they are from Coulsons memories which Quake disagrees with because she doesn’t want to believe there might be a part of Coulson still inside Sarge.

3. Vincent arrives on board the plane telling Mack what he’s found when Yo-Yo tells Vincent Keller would find it funny which alerts Vincent to Mack not being Mack so Vincent deletes the files and then Izel kills Vincents pilot. Izel then shows what she’s capable of doing with the monolith energy when she creates Thomas, somebody from Vincents past which is one of his fears.

4. Sarge tries escaping the SHIELD lighthouse with his newly found powers when Quake confronts him and Sarge tells Quake to kill him but he called her Skye which triggers Quakes emotions towards Coulson.

5. Mack and Yo-Yo are chained to a pillar in a temple Izel brought them too when Flint from the previous season in the future appears infront of a shocked Mack and Yo-Yo.

What Was Bad?

Quake and May arguing over what to do with Sarge, May wants to stay and try to find the last part of Coulson while Quake wants to bring the monster inside of Sarge out.

Holy Shit Moment

1. Quake is trying to figure out what is inside Sarge so she breaks his neck triggering memories from Coulson.

2. Sarge figures out his powers and goes on a rampage inside the SHIELD base.

The Verdict

Fairly decent episode, not the strongest but definitely focused on what Izel is planning to do with the monolith energy. Sarge/Coulson is going to play a factor in taking her down. Great to see Flint back. Excited for the finale.
