Why Disney Should Revive Daredevil for Season 4

I just went through another run of Daredevil, and despite it being an absolutely spectacular show, I want to discuss season 3 and how a season 4 could make sense.

At the end of season 3, we eventually see Matt, Foggy and Karen reset the law firm under Nelson Murdock & Page. Wilson Fisk is back in prison, the streets are safer, but the most important part was Special Agent Ben Pointdexter undergoing surgery.

We know Dex as his counter comic part, Bullseye. This surgery showed Dex receiving the strong metal know as cogmium in his spine. This is another characteristic of Bullseye that makes him that bit more powerful, and surprisingly more accurate.

It ends there, and although the show did end on a good enough show to never return, the Bullseye part is too much to ignore. Wilson Bethel did a fantastic job with the character, and really created that edgy side to Dex also bringing the character to life.

We now know the rights to Daredevil are now back with Disney after the Netflix deal which is what subsequently caused the shows to be cancelled in the first place. We also know there are heavy rumours that Charlie Cox is in talks to reprise his role as Daredevil in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie.

It’s thoroughly deserved, it’s difficult to picture anybody else now playing Daredevil, because he really did do that well with the role, and deserved every ounce of praise the show seemingly gets.

Having Matt show up in Spider-Man 3 is a great move. Not just for the character, but because he’ll be a welcomed addition to the movie, and also it ensures Charlie gets another crack at a character he did so well with.

Understandably, it would be better to wait for Charlie to show up in Spider-Man 3 first if he is to be cast, more so for the surprise factor it will give the movie, and fans of the show as well.

Disney are making all of their shows to go inline with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, if they’re to make Charlie show up as Matt in Spider-Man 3 then it makes sense to give another crack of the whip with a season revival.

Out of all the Netflix shows, Daredevil is definitely the most deserving alongside Punisher, and it also makes sense for the shows directly generally to keep it moving forward.

I know there are most likely legal issues resulting in Disney just straight-up continuing Netflix’s work with the show, but it can definitely happen, and it should.

The Marvel shows on Netflix did wonders for their numbers and were immensely popular in every regard. Even a lot of non-fans watched the shows because they always added a bit more to it than just being a standard superhero show we’re all used to.
