Season 1 Episode 3 – “Wanda’s pregnancy fritzes her powers as she and Vision prepare for an accelerated delivery.“
What I Liked
1. One of the many things I like about this show is the immersion. The beginning of each episode feels like you’re about to watch another TV programme because they make it that realistic. The time periods match the intros etc also which makes it that bit more immersive. They really have done well with this show.
2. The entire pregnancy scenes just bring back a lot of memories personally. It’s hilarious from an outside perspective but the stress that comes with it is unfathomable. A great start to the episode. 3. Last week it was a Stark toaster, this weeks it’s Hydra Soak? These subtle little Easter eggs are hilarious.

4. It gets even better when Geraldine mentions that he was killed by Ultron. She also has a SWORD logo on her necklace, and when questioned by Wanda she seems unable to answer any questions and seems unsure of who she actually is. This is getting intense that’s for sure. It does look as though Wanda throws her somewhere, and she’s surrounded by guards. Looking at the cars etc it would seem she’s been thrown into the future or present day.
What I Disliked
I do believe the first half of the episode was a little played out and unnecessary. I get it had to happen quickly but I just feel like next to no advancement to the story happened or answers to a lot of questions raised in the first couple episodes.
Favourite Moment
Finally, Wanda eventually mentions her brother after she has not one baby, but twins. We haven’t even had a mention of Quicksilver since he died in Age of Ultron, so I’m glad the producers actually decided to mention him, especially since Wanda has had a lot of screen time in the movies since.
Standout Character
Wanda gets the standout this episode. Her scenes during the pregnancy were fantastic, and finally mentioning her brother is something a lot of fans have waited a long time for. Thoroughly deserved.
Verdict
Another fantastic episode for WandaVision, and is now pushing further into the reality aspects. The mentions of Quicksilver and Ultron were welcomed, and honestly, it’s about time they start referencing some of the older MCU stuff. Bravo.
