Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Reportedly In Development

This is a game I’ve wanted so badly to either be remastered or even remade, especially with the current gaming technology. I wrote about this back in March 2020 that a KOTOR remake would be perfect. You can read my article here.

We have had some reports and rumours that both EA and Bioware were making a new Knights of the Old Republic videogame, but that seems to have switched according to a report from VGC.

According to the report, it seems that it’s unknown right now as to which studio or developer is working on the game, and the cards are being held very close to their chests…for now.

Also in the report was developer Nate Najda of Wushu Studios had this to say;

“It’s not as mysterious as you think. It’s just not a household name most people are aware of.”

So who knows. We do right now that EA is still working on Star Wars titles, as is Ubisoft and now this developer. Star Wars fans can rest easy knowing there’s plenty of videogame content to come from all different angles.

EA held exclusive rights to the videogame license from 2013, and I’ll be honest, they haven’t had the greatest time with it. So knowing there are at least 3 developers working on titles, will give that competitor factor with all of them in terms of making the best possible titles.

Not to mention giving each game the care and love they deserve, which seems to have been lost up until Battlefront 2 was changed and Jedi: Fallen Order was released.

Either way, right now, I’m super excited for every single title in production as we speak. E3 this year is going to be really interesting that’s for sure.
