Season 2 episode 7 “Adina is pushed to a dangerous edge as she looks to get answers and closure for her two boys. Meanwhile, Tyrone comes in contact with a mysterious figure on his search for Tandy.”
The Good & The Bad
The Good
1. The episode starts of with the police and O’Reilly investigating the “growhouse” Tandy took down a couple of episodes ago. Tyrone teleports in and figures out that it was indeed Tandy and that this is his fault because he told her he could be better off alone.
2. We See Andre playing the trombone while Tandy is passed out on the bed, she wakes up and has a confrontation with Andre and with Andre telling Tandy that she can’t use her powers anymore because there is no hope to where she is at and that he killed Tyrone.
3. Adina is cooking while talking to tied up Connors. She’s speaking to him about being trapped inbetween to forces, Billy and Tyrone. She says cooking helps her think. She doesn’t know if she wants revenge for Billy or turn Connors in because she knows Tyrone will never have to look over his shoulder again. She asks Connors where he buried Billy’s body and Connors tells her it’s under a horse stall at a fairground.
4. While Tyrone takes off from O’Reily he goes searching at the place where Tandy is having meetings, While there Tyrone comes face to face with Andre and shakes his hand and has visions of Andre inside the Darkforce in the music shop.
Tyrone leaves after Andre threatens to call the police then tells Tyrone that maybe Tandy doesn’t need a friend like Tyrone. We see Tyrone on a tram and can hear music coming from the music shop inside the Darkforce, the music changes to a Balle music then young Ballerina’s sit next to Tyrone. Mayhem is giving Tyrone hints on how to find Tandy.
The Bad
1. Connor’s has been free from the Darkforce for a few episode’s now… why isn’t he brought to justice yet?
2. Andre has a bunch of girls at the motel, completely drained of their hope which makes them not want to leave or escape.
Holy Shit Moment
Tandy finally get’s her hope back and with that hope comes her daggers when a man comes in a pays money for sex. Tyrone appears outside the motel and infront of a 6 ft+ tall bodyguard so Tyrone has a insane fight with him while Tandy is freeing the girls. Mayhem still inside the music shop in the Darkforce is destroying the vinyls and once again Tyrone and Tandy always manage to find each other. Tyrone Falls into Tandy’s arms and teleports them back to the church where we see Tyrone in Tandy’s arms and his Darkforce energy covering the church floor.
Verdict
Powerful episode involving raw and heavy emotional scenes and dialogue with Tandy and one of the girls truly showing what happens in real life sex trafficking situations. Tyrone and Tandy always finding each other makes a great dynamic duo.
