Miles Morales is a character who is gaining insane amounts of hype and excitement around him and his whole role as Spider-Man pretty much on a daily basis now, which is 1000% deserved. The character is great, the personality in both Miles and when he puts on the suit is amazing.
He gained momentum when his animated movie, Into the Spider-Verse, released a few years ago. Ever since then many new fans have jumped on his bandwagon and became a fan. Since then he’s gone on to receive a PS5 launch title video-game. Many issues of comics and has been spoken about pretty much all of the time.
We’ve even had a tease in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movies. It’s literally only a matter of time before we see Miles make the jump from animation to live-action… but who could play this character? Well, here some potential castings or just in general fancasts for Miles Morales.
04. Jaden Smith
Jaden Smith is one that is probably the most unlikely. However, Jaden has stated in the past that he would like to play Miles. He’s close to the character as he did some of the music for the Miles Morales video-game on the PS5. He would obviously be a bit older as Miles so it wouldn’t exactly need to be an origin movie as that’s pretty much happened with Into the Spider-Verse.
03. Shameik Moore
Shameik Moore would essentially be similar to Jaden Smith, An older Miles, not by much, still very much in his “rookie” years as a crime-fighting superhero. This casting would simply be Into The Spider-Verse but brought to live-action with many of the same cast as in that movie.
02. Caleb McLaughlin
Caleb McLaughlin has been an absolute star in Stranger Things. He’s one of the standouts whenever I watch the show. I think he would suit becoming Miles. Caleb even has the look to be younger than Tom Holland who himself looks like a babyface in his Spider-Man movies.
01. Miles Brown
Miles Brown is one of the only ones on this list who’s willingly asked for it online. He’s 16 years old and is the perfect age for a live-action Miles Morales origin story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is similar to Caleb with Miles Brown having that baby face look which would match perfectly with Tom Holland.
This is just four of my own fancasts that I would like to see suit up as Miles Morales in a live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe movie whether that be a fully-fledged movie, a post-credit scene, or sharing a movie with Tom Holland. Each one of these fancasts would suit that movie perfectly.
