Agents Of SHIELD “Code Yellow” Review

Season 6 episode 4 “Yo-Yo and Keller take things public; parasitic aliens threaten the human race; and someone really needs boba.”

What Was Good?

1. Deke left SHIELD to go explore the world and get a fresh start from where he originally came from. We see him in his own company making games and essentially trying to change the world for the better. He’s using some SHIELD tech to make that happen.

2. Sarge and his team hunt down a alien and kill him, SHIELD later take the alien body back to their HQ and perform a autopsy and come to find a parsitic bat alien inside the body, Meanwhile back at Deke’s company Sarge has arrived to kill him but Deke fools Sarge and finds a sleeper SHIELD agent which helps Deke escape.

3. Director Mack back in the field helping to bring in Sarge and his team for questioning.

4. May gets kidnapped by Sarge and his team and are taking her to find out why Sarge is really here on this world.

What Was Bad?

1. The love triangle between Mack, Yo-Yo and Agent Keller is really boring and has dragged these past 4 episodes.

Holy Shit Moment

1. This episode we get another badass May fight between her and Sarge and his team. We see her take out one of Sarge’s people while Mack and Deke take out the big man in the framework. May was badass up until Sarge stuck a gun to her head.

2. The parasitic bat alien escaped from the dead body and flew around the SHIELD HQ then into Agent Kellers mouth which caused his body to heat up and nearly explode, eventually the parasite killed him by ripping his body apart nearing the explosion until Yo-Yo has to made a hard choice and kill him.

The Verdict

Fantastic episode centered around Deke and what he’s been doing while away from SHIELD. I can not wait until we finally see Sarge’s intentions for this world. Absolutely incredible seeing Mack in the field and not just being a director.
