Marvel has released a video announcement for the new release date for the upcoming Disney+ series “Loki”.
Instead of the usual Friday weekly releases, Loki will now stream on Wednesday’s starting on June 9 over on Disney+.
Tom Hiddleston will return as an alternate version of Loki who is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority after stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers Endgame.
Loki will be part of the Phase Four section of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will consist of 6 episodes in season 1 which has an incredible cast with Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, and more.
The episodes will be roughly 40-50 minutes long in each episode. The series takes place after Avengers Endgame which we saw Loki steal the Tesseract and create an alternate timeline to the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A second season began development for Loki in November 2020.
