In somewhat shocking news, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been cast as Kraven the Hunter in a solo movie for Sony. According to The Wrap.
The studio also locked in the actor for multiple pictures for the actor to play Kraven the Hunter. J.C. Chandor is directing “Kraven the Hunter.”
The villain-centric movie is said to be the next chapter of Sony’s universe of Marvel-licensed characters in the near future.
Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk wrote the screenplay, while Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing the movie.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Aaron Taylor-Johnson in a superhero movie as longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will know him to be Quicksilver, Scarlet Witches brothers in Age of Ultron.
The movie is set to be released on Jan. 13, 2023.
