Season 6 episode 8 “To face The Galaxy-Hopping Hate-Beast That Eats Planets, the team on Earth asks for help in all the wrong places; while back on the Lazy Comet, something weird goes on with Izel’s crew.”
What Was Good?
1. Izel wants to do a hyper-jump in a old spacecraft which Fitz tells her is very little odds… they flick the switch and off they go… it last a second and they make it behind the moon and can see Earth.
2. Mack lets Sarge choose 1 member of his team to leave with him but adds that May and Quake are going with him, they argue and Quake and May are headed off with Sarge and Snowflake. Sarge needs a electrical engineer so Mack asks Deke to go but he refuses until Mack threatens to tell Quake about the simulation Deke created and Deke agrees to go but not before giving Mack 10% of his company.
3. Izel is speaking to Fitz and Jemma about her world and the monoliths but Izel tells them that Sarge is the bad guy and destroyed her world and killed her team.. She tells them that Sarge wants to kill her because she knows what he really is… Who’s the villain? Sarge or Izel?
Izel is talking to one of the workers on the ship and she’s holding a bat, he asks if it’s a pet and she tells him that’s a nice way of putting it that’s when it crawls inside him and we see that she’s who Sarge has been warning SHIELD about.
4. On the plane Pax escapes after killing a guard and free’s Jaco this is when Yo-Yo catches them and uses her speed to tie Pax up and push Jaco into the containment hold all on her own!
5. The Shrike are all gathered in one spot bonding together to create a massive structure to eventually destroy the planet while waiting for Izel. Sarge put’s the truck in auto drive and climbs on the roof of the truck and opens a doorway to the plane and leaves Quake, Deke, May and Snowflake in the truck headed for the Shrike.
What Was Bad?
1. When Fitz, Jemma and Izel hyper-jump back to Earth, you’d think SHIELD the agency who has dealt with space travel would have scanners in Earth’s atmosphere to detect incoming ships or threats.
2. Fitz is speaking to Jemma about her marrying the future Fitz and he becomes jealous of him thinking he’s the back up husband etc.
Holy Shit Moment
Sarge has a bomb rigged to the truck which is on auto drive driving towards the Shrike which will kill Izel, the Shrike and the people in the truck while leaving a 200 mile wide crater in the Earth.. Find out what happens in part 2.
The Verdict
Really interesting and action packed episode. Finally coming to see what will happen when Izel reaches Earth. Who’s the true villain Sarge or Izel? The action was great and the episode had some great moments like Yo-Yo taking down 2 people uses her speed.
