Season 6 episode 5 “Sarge has May; Altarah has Daisy, Enoch and Simmons; and now, there are two planets that need saving.”
What Was Good?
1. Sarge and his team are traveling somewhere while Sarge still has May tied up, she’s floating back and fourth between real time and visions of Coulson before he died.
2. Quake and her team are trying to get through to Enoch by asking him where the hunters would take Fitz when a fleet of ships arrive infront of them. The people in the ship board and it’s more chromicoms, Enoch’s people. Altarah enters to tell Enoch he faces judgement for tampering with the universe and that their world has been destroyed and has Fitz as prisoner so Quake and her team will be forced to help Altarah to time travel.
3. Finally we have some information as to why Sarge and his team are on this world, it’s because a species called “Shrike” has infected it. It’s like the parasite which entered and killed Keller last episode, Sarge follows and destroys them and anything that isn’t suppose to be there before the Shrike can destroy the planet.
4. This episode was a major Sarge backstory episode, While May is tied up he’s telling her his backstory he says he’s 100 Earth years old and that he’ll be around 100 more and that he’s lived on planets with the speed of light. He wonders why people keep recognizing his face, he says he’s never been to a world where people know his face, He asks May why she hates him until he realizes it’s the “other thing”.
What Was Bad?
The new doctor in the SHIELD base isn’t being trusted enough by the people at the base including Yo-Yo.
Holy Shit Moment
1. Sarge want’s to make May into one of his soldiers so he locks May in with a Shrike in a hosts body which keeps attacking May and getting angry and is about to explode like the one with Keller until May uses the blue blade to stop it.
2. Jemma makes a deal with Altarah to stay aboard the Chromicom ship with Fitz to help figure out time travel so Altarah let’s Quake and her team return home to the SHIELD base.
3. Sarge and May have a awesome fight scene which also flashes in and out of visions between her and Coulson before he died, She puts his hand on his lap after he dies and when she knocks out Sarge she does the same.
The Verdict
Amazing episode centered on Sarge and his intentions and motives for coming to this Earth. Great space scenes with Jemma and Fitz. overall a really good episode which makes me want more.
