Marvel’s latest Disney+ project is close to being released. The long-awaited Echo series starring Alaqua Cox will be hitting the Disney+ streaming service on Thursday, Jan 9.
The superhero spinoff stars Alaqua Cox, Chaske Spencer, Devery Jacobs, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Charlie Cox.

After making her first appearance in the TV series Hawkeye back in 2021, Maya Lopez AKA Echo will star in her own series. Although her series is a five-part series which releases altogether on Jan 9.
The series takes place immediately after the Hawkeye series and sees Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), a deaf superhuman who leaves New York City to return to her hometown in Oklahoma after kingpin Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) puts a bounty on her. Once home again, Echo reconnects to her Native American roots to become stronger.
Earlier today, Marvel Studios released a short trailer showcasing the return of Kingpin played by the incredible Vincent D’Onofrio. It also showcases the previous Netflix Daredevil series seemingly confirming that it to be canon once again.
I can not wait for this series, it looks fantastic from all the trailers and promotional material there is but what I can not wait for is the return of Daredevil once again.
