What I Liked

1. Dedra is honestly such a fantastic character. You started off rooting for her at the beginning of the show even though she’s working as an Imperial. Throughout each episode, she just begins to slowly turn and turn and keeps turning until you hate her.

2. This show truly delivers a unique and awful showcase of the Empire. They are willing to go to any lengths necessary to get answers. They even go as far as torturing Bix with the screams of dying children. The Empire is truly one of the worst factions in the galaxy.

3. We are finally getting scenes inside of the Galactic Senate with a speech from Mon Mothma. She’s speaking about the Empire’s reign and you can truly see how the galaxy has sided with Emperor Palpatine as Mon Mothma gets heckled during her speech.

What I Disliked

Honestly, the lack of action in this run of episodes has been insanely lackluster. I don’t know how they can bring the action back in the final few episodes of the season.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would come in the saddest part of the episode. The old man who was working with Cassian sadly had a stroke, the medic tells Cassian and Kino Loy that they killed everyone on level 2 cause someone from level 4 ended up on the level 2 work floor. The medic was pretty shaken because of it.

Standout Character

Kino Loy gets the standout. He knows that something is wrong within the prison, he doesn’t want to know about it and go on about his shifts but ultimately it gets forced onto him at the end of the episode. Andy Serkis is an incredible actor.

Verdict

A slow and actionless episode. This, however, doesn’t take away from the fact that this episode truly showed the lengths that the Empire go to to get what they want even so far as to torture someone with screams from dying children.
