The fourth Captain America movie starring Anthony Mackie has had a title change from “New World Order” to “Brave New World”.
The news of the title change came with a behind-the-scenes photo of Anthony Mackie, wearing a brand new suit, which looks like a stealth suit, and icon Harrison Ford.
The fourth Captain America movie comes after the events of Avengers: Endgame and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ series.
Avengers: Endgame saw Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers pass the mantle of Captain America to Anthony Mackie when old man Rogers gave Sam Wilson the shield, with a nod of approval from Bucky.
The Disney+ series saw Wilson contemplating whether to take over the role passed to him while working alongside Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier, portrayed by Sebastian Stan) as the U.S. government created their own “Captain America” in Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent.
The film will see the return of two Incredible Hulk characters, Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake) and Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), with Ford’s Thunderbolt serving as the U.S. president.
The release date has been set for May 3, 2024.
