Spider-Man 3 seems to be the movie that is growing bigger by the day, and today is no different as the latest rumor is that Charlie Cox who played Daredevil in the Marvel Netflix shows will reprise the role in the upcoming movie.
Now, this is just a rumor although according to a site, it’s actually been a done deal for months, however, no actual creditable sources have confirmed this at the current time (we’ll update if there is a confirmation).
Charlie Cox is just another name in a huge list of characters returning, or are rumored to be returning. Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, J.K Simmon’s and Benedict Cumberbatch are all confirmed for the movie.
However, actors like Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and Emma Stone are all either a rumor or just plain speculation. The cast is going to be huge, especially when you add the actors who play MJ, Ned, Flash, etc in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are all in the movie as well.
I like the idea, I just think the movie is slightly taking the focus off of Tom Holland by bringing back these huge characters from previous trilogies. Many fans love that these characters are returning.
But with good comes bad and there are some negative tweets about the movie in general from the “overcrowding” to “Spider-Man can’t stand on his own in a movie” to “Tom is the worst Spider-Man”.
Of course, there will be “insiders” who will take credit for this Daredevil news if it’s true, like Grace Randolph who is already spewing some false information about a couple of movies just to keep her name in the spotlight.
