What I Liked

01. Agent Poindexter, or Bullseye for short, begins the episode by being in prison because of the results of going after Foggy and killing him. He’s meant to be protected as law enforcement usually are in prisons, but not this time. The place where Bullseye goes is “Gen pop,” otherwise known as general population… we only know how this is going to go.

02. Fisk takes Vanessa to see where he is keeping Adam locked away. Adam is literally pleading for his life to both Fisk and Vanessa and states he will disappear. In a turn of events that mirrors the painting Fisk has with blood on it, Vanessa shoots Adam in the head, causing a splatter of blood in a similar fashion.

03. Matt tells his partner that all they’re doing at their law firm is babysitting chaos. He tells her it feels pointless. Matt then goes to Josies, which is still closed from the death of Foggy. Matt has a drink while Cherry speaks to Matt. I do love the connection that Matt has always had with Josie’s bar.

04. I did really love the interview room scene with Matt and Bullseye. The two actors are incredible together, and you could truly feel the tension between the two. You could feel Matt’s pain, anger, and strength to hold back, and you could feel Bullseye’s torment, annoyance, and arrogance.

05. Bullseye’s escape. You just knew it was going to happen. What I didn’t expect to see was him actually use one of his teeth as a weapon against a guard and then use some scissors as weapons to kill the guard and doctor.

What I Disliked

I only have one little dislike for this episode. Bullseye is a known figure at this point. He would have been in the news for countless killings, being an agent and going dirty, and obviously the killing of Foggy Nelson, so how come he could walk onto a bus full of police and not get caught?

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be at the Black and White Ball when Bullseye arrives with a sniper. He takes aim at Fisk, but Matt dives in the way of Fisk being shot, and Matt actually takes the bullet for Fisk.

Standout Character

I’m going to give this to Bullseye. It was nice to see him escape and go after Fisk. He even informed Matt that Foggy had been killed by someone.

Verdict

Overall, a solid but slow episode. This episode was a slow build story that delivered on some overlapping stories, such as Foggy and Matt finding out someone had ordered him to be killed, and that is why Foggy was celebrating early when he died.
