DC’s Time On The CW Comes To A End With Season 4 of Superman & Lois

I think it’s a safe bet to say everyone saw this coming. With the other DC shows being canceled, the only one left still standing was Superman and Lois which finished its third season with a fourth being the only DC show other than the catastrophic show that was Gotham Knights.

With Gotham Knights being canceled just after the show finished, it was only a matter of time before Superman and Lois followed along. Although this one does hurt as the show has ultimately been the best DC show on the CW.

Superman & Lois will end its CW run with four seasons, I believe the shortest DC show on the network other than Gotham Knights. The series’ final ten episodes are set to air in 2024.

With the acquisition of the CW from Nexstar, without Superman & Lois, only three shows will remain on the network. Those shows are All American, All American: Homecoming, and Walker.

Superman & Lois premiered in February of 2021 and stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent who debuted in the Supergirl series alongside Melissa Benoist as the titular character. The series also stars Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane.

The cast also includes Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent, Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent, Alexander Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette as Sarah Cushing, Wolé Parks as Henry Irons, Tayler Buck as Natalie Irons Sofia Hasmik as Chrissy Beppo, Chad L. Coleman as Bruno Mannheim, Dylan Walsh as General Samuel Lane and Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang Cushing.
