Deadpool Officially an MCU Character

Deadpool has been officially confirmed as a Marvel Cinematic Universe character by Kevin Feige. He’s recently given some updates on Deadpool 3 as well.

Firstly, the script for the movie is underway. This is a great step forward in bringing the character to this universe. My question is, Is Ryan Reynolds helping with the script? He knows the character really well so he deserves a say in it.

Secondly, Deadpool 3 will NOT film this year. This is a bad thing, in my opinion, This means if the movie isn’t filming this year, it could be at least 2 and a half to 3 years before we even see him appear in the MCU.

Thirdly, as unsurprising as this is, the movie will be Rated-R. Marvel’s first rated R movie in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This gives me hope for future movies being rated R like Blade.

I can not wait until we get to see what Kevin Feige and Marvel do with this character as there is so much potential for movies, cameos, etc and it’s going to be absolutely great to see.

However, I do have my worries like can the character be the same as it was in previous movies, can it live up to the likes of Deadpool 1, and can it bring in cameo’s like Juggernaut, Cable, Domino, etc.
