Disney held their “Investor Day” and revealed some information, showcased some footage, and shared some first looks at logos and footage of their upcoming movie and TV slate for the next few years.
So major reveals have been made by Lucasfilm, from live-action to animation, Star Wars is fully expanding the universe more than it already is.
Star Wars
They went all in, from live-action to animation, everything was just excitement waiting to happen, I’m very much sold on having a ton of new content coming from the Star Wars Universe.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series
They revealed some information about the show itself. The series is set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith with Obi-Wan. They revealed that Hayden Christensen himself will reprise his role as the iconic Darth Vader.
Star Wars Rangers of the New Republic
Rangers of the New Republic is set in the timeline of The Mandalorian. If I had to guess it would be with Cara Dune. It’s pretty much been hinted at throughout the Mandalorian series.
Ahsoka
A new all original series focused on Ahsoka starring Rosario Dawson is happening. This series is also set in the timeline of The Mandalorian. This is huge, but not surprising.
Star Wars: Andor
We first met Cassian Andor back in Rogue One. An interesting character and we never got to see much of his backstory. An original series focused on him is coming in 2022.
The Bad Batch
They showcased an all-new original animation focused on The Bad Batch who we got to finally meet in The Clone Wars season 7 is coming in 2021.
Star Wars: Visions
Star Wars Visions is an original series of animated short films centered on the Star Wars Universe coming from legendary Japanese anime creators, coming in 2021.
Lando
The legendary character of Lando Calrissian will return in a brand-new event series with Justin Simien in the early stages of developing the project.
The Acolyte
The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.
A Droid Story
Lucasfilm Animation is teaming up with Lucasfilm’s visual effects team, Industrial Light & Magic, to develop a special Star Wars adventure film for Disney+
Taika Waititi Star Wars film
A brand-new Star Wars feature with acclaimed filmmaker Taika Waititi is in development. Get ready for an unforgettable ride!
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
A new series focused on pilots is in development by director Patty Jenkins.
Marvel
Marvel has just absolutely smashed the event tonight with their reveals, showcases, and more, from Loki to Ms. Marvel to Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
WandaVision
Finally received a brand new trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Scarlet Witch and Vision.
Falcon and The Winter Soldier
We finally got a trailer for my most anticipated Disney+ show, Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This series looks amazing. I love the suit designs.
Loki
The trailer I was most surprised to see given that the show has just finished filming a few weeks back. This trailer looks amazing, Loki is amazing and his character is unique.
What if?
The first actual trailer for the animated What If? series has arrived and the animation looks perfect. I can not wait for this series from seeing Peggy Carter as Captain Britain to T’Challa as Starlord.
Ms. Marvel
A potential controversial show for the wrong reasons. We didn’t get footage per say but we did receive the directors and creators talking about the character and her love for Captain Marvel.
Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness
Kevin Feige quickly spoke about doctor Strange 2 and the cast, the announced some returns from the first movie as well as revealing a new casting for the movie, Xochitel Gomez will play America Chavez in the upcoming movie.
Spider-Man 3
Feige also quickly revealed that Spider-Man 3 will explore the multiverse. He also confirmed Doctor Strange 2 will connect directly to Spider-Man 3.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
The full cast of Shang-Chi got revealed.

She-Hulk
Tim Roth who played The Abomination in The Incredible Hulk will return as the character. They also revealed that Mark Ruffalo is also confirmed to return which was a giving.
They also confirmed that Tatiana Maslany is indeed cast as She-Hulk.
Secret Invasion
A Secret Invasion is in the works at Disney+ with Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn set to return to the project which will see Skrull invading high-level positions in the Human race.
Armor Wars
Marvel also revealed that Don Cheadle will return as War Machine in a series titled “Armor Wars” for Disney+. It’s revealed to be a “what happens if Tony Starks tech ends up in the wrong hands” type project.
Ironheart
Feige revealed that Ironheart is in the works over at Disney+ and has already cast Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams for the show.
Thor: Love and Thunder
Christian Bale will star as Gorr the God Butcher in the fourth installment in the Thor franchise. He’s revealed to be the villain of the movie.
I Am Groot
Baby Groot will star in a series of shorts on Disney+ which will feature several new and unusual characters.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
The Guardians of the Galaxy will be returning for a “Holiday Special” which is in the works at Disney+. The best thing about this is James Gunn is set to direct.
Captain Marvel 2
Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani will reprise their roles as Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau in Captain Marvel 2. Brie Larson is also said to return.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania
The third installment of the Ant-Man franchise has been revealed as Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania with Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer is confirmed return.
Kathryn Newton will star as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors will star as Kang the Conqueror.
Fantastic Four
The most surprising reveal of the night was Fantastic Four. Feige revealed that a “Fantastic Four” movie is in the works with Spider-Man director Jon Watts set to direct.
Black Panther 2
Feige quickly spoke about Chadwick Boseman, what he meant to movies, the fans, and in general. He revealed that Ryan Coogler is hard at work writing the script for Black Panther 2. He also revealed that T’Challa will not be recast. The movie is set for July 8, 2022.
Moon Knight
An original series about a complex vigilante is coming to Disney+.
Hawkeye
Original Avengers Jeremy Renner returns to star as Hawkeye, teaming up with well-known archer from Marvel Comics, Kate Bishop. She will be played by Hailee Steinfeld.
Additional cast includes Vera Farminga, Fra Free, and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Episodes are directed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie.
Eternals
