EA To Publish Two More Star Wars Games

Star Wars can finally rejoice after the lacklustre launches for both Battlefront 1 & 2. Jedi: Fallen Order gave us what we needed for some time now. A solid story driven, single-player game. It was EA who published that, so that still remains a surprise to me.

A sequel to Fallen Order is increasing in speculation following a job listing at Respawn Entertainment.

The job listings are for a Senior Character Artist, Character Artist, Level Designer, and a Senior Software Engineer. All of which are listed to work on the Star Wars team.

The listing for the Software Engineer shows us that EA, and Respawn are looking for someone who wants to create an incredible Star Wars experience. Also from the back of that, someone who is motivated by coding third person, and adventure games.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was exactly that listed. After the successful launch of Fallen Order, it would ridiculous for EA not to capitalise on that success by giving us a sequel.

After all, there is still only 4 years remaining on the EA/Disney license. With this success, it’s difficult to see any reason as to why this wouldn’t be extended.

If this news is not enough to get you excited. It’s looking like Motive Studios (part of EA) has been given the green light on a new game that has been dubbed as a “very unique Star Wars experience”.

Whatever that means, we’re unsure. Truth be told it’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan and a gamer. The Star Wars universe has so much potential, and so many stories to be told. The Mandalorian has been hugely popular and success. Episode 9 is out very soon, so it’s looking to close on a good year for Disney.

What type of Star Wars game would you like to see next?
