Word just broke out that the crew has been given the okay to resume filming in Prague, Czech Republic due to the low number of COVID-19 cases there.
Of course, there is still a few hopes to go through before filming gets underway again, such as consistent testing on the crew, and actors, and they also need to actually the go-ahead from Disney. Also the actors, and crew.
As of right now, it is up to everybody else, every after being greenlit. However more importantly this does bode well for the show to release on track at the end of summer.
I think right now we all deserve a bit of news like this.
I hope they can safely resume and finish the highly anticipated show with zero cases, so we can feel comfortable knowing it all went down smoothly.
Elsewhere, this does continue to be an improvement on the current coronavirus situation. CW’s The Flash has, unfortunately, had to come to an abrupt end next week at 19 episodes instead of the usual 23.
The news does come with mixed feeling, with some claiming it’s too soon, but others claiming if controlled it could be okay. I’m in the latter here. As long as everybody involved is closely monitored and tested, I don’t see an issue with it.
