So when the Marvel skins were leaked, I for sure thought it would be a paid item, similar to the Batman skin that was recently brought back to the item shop in-game.
So when I found out that each Marvel character had its own section of the Battle Pass which comes with gliders, trails, etc I was over the moon with excitement.
1. Storm
Skin Design is a must for any skin whether that be an original design or a comic book design. They’ve gone with a similar look to the classic X-Men animated show, the white with hints of Silver on her suit.
Her Glider is literally her storm, and It’s amazing, It’s the best Glider I have in my locker. It’s so well done that I got amazed each time I used it in-game.
2. Thor
Thor design is literally ripped from a Donny Cate’s comic book, the cosmic Thor skin is amazing, it’s amazing on the comic page but even better in-game with its stars/galaxy look to it.
His glider is his hammer, also one of the better gliders in the entire game. his Emote is decent but can also be a downfall in a situation where you are using it in-game but in a nighttime match. His emote causes you to glow blue, like pure lightning, the glow of it is so much that enemies can spot you from far distances.
3. She-Hulk
She-Hulk has an awesome design too. They’ve given her “two” skins, her Jennifer Walters human form and her emote gives her gamma radiation which causes her to turn green. It’s pretty amazing to witness in-game.
Although, this skin/accessories are not all good. Her skin is great, but her back bling and pickaxes are bad. They are to do with her “Lawyer” side but not “She-Hulk”, I feel like the Hulk’s hands as pickaxes are better suited.
4. Groot
Groot for me is by far one of the most let down skins they’ve added. As much as it pains me to say but it’s true. He does have a couple of good items, but overall just a letdown.
Groot has his skin, which is good, but he gets let down in his glider, his pickaxes, and his emote. They are just plain and boring like the emotes just shows some branches coming out of his back. His only saving grace is his skin and back bling which is Rocket.
I’ll be unlocking the rest of the skins in a week or two, I’ll be sure to make a part 2 of the skin rankings when I finally use them in-game. I can already see that Iron Man will be fun to use, whether or not the accessories that come with him will be fun is the true question.
