Warner Bros. Games and DC have revealed the first official gameplay footage for Nightwing and Red Hood in the upcoming “Gotham Knights” video game.
With the game set to release on October 25th for Playstation 5, Xbox Series XIS, and PC, I can only assume that fans will get a new footage video showcasing the two further playable characters in the form of Batgirl and Robin in the near future.
The footage we see showcases a range of stuff from the combat system for both characters and their differences in their fighting styles, movement, and ability to get around the map as we see Nightwing has a glider and Red Hood can use his soul.
The footage also showcases a range of abilities and fighting styles that you can unlock throughout the game. Another thing the footage showcases is the fact that you can unlock different suits for the Batfamily members.
Gotham Knights Standard Edition is $69.99 and includes the base game and 233 Kustom Batcycle skin.
Gotham Knights Deluxe Edition is $89.99 and includes everything that you receive with the standard edition plus the Visionary PAck, Exclusive “Knightwatch by Jim Lee” Transmog, Beyond Suitstyle, inspired by Batman Beyond universe, Salvage to build new gear, boosted gear, exclusive emotion, and 3 exclusive suit colorways.
Gotham Knights Collector’s Edition is $299.99 including everything the Deluxe Edition has plus Gotham Knights’ exclusive new guard statue, inspired by Jim Lee, Promethium New Guard Transmogs, Jim Lee Certificate of Authenticity, Augmented Reality Talon Key, Gotham City: City of Bridges collectible map. Pre-orders coming soon.
Recently, the Playstation store seemingly made a mistake on the Gotham Knights game listing as it stated that the game can allow up to 4 player co-op but it’s officially been revealed that the game can actually support up to 2 players online.
While this is disappointing as the game has 4 playable characters, I don’t see why this should affect the overall enjoyment of the game. Another thing that was revealed was the Gotham Knights editions on PS4, and Xbox One has officially been canceled meaning Gotham Knights is only available on PS5, XBOX XIS, and PC.
