Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 Casts Will Poulter as Adam Warlock

After many rumors, DEADLINE has revealed that Will Poulter has been cast as Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. After the tease at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Adam Warlock is set to debut in the upcoming third movie of the franchise.

Will Poulter has landed the role of Warlock in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. James Gun is returning to direct while Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is producing.

While the details for the plot are currently being kept under wraps, production is set to begin in November.

The character was first teased in a post-credit scene at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 when Ayesha played by Elizabeth Debicki, unveils to her chambermaid the perfect Sovereign she has created to help destroy the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Since then fans have waited to see who would be cast to play the iconic character of Adam Warlock with Poulter as well as several other actors testing, with ultimately Poulters test being too good to pass up on.

Will Poulter is best known for roles in The Revenant and Detroit, while he has been busy on the TV side most recently appearing in the Amazon miniseries The Underground Railroad.
