Hailee Steinfeld Reportedly Signed on to Star in the Hawkeye Disney+ Series

Over the last few months we’ve had many, many films and TV series stopped early, delayed, and moved dates. News for new shows/films for Marvel has been incredibly slow over the past few months.

We’ve had news that Falcon and The Winter Soldier is back filming and still scheduled for a release later this year as well as news for WandaVision. We got news of Evan Peters joining the WandaVision show in a role yet to be revealed.

Hawkeye is still happening over at Disney+, despite many “official reports” late last year about the Hawkeye show being canceled. Jeremy Renner is returning to star in the show.

The Hawkeye series will be about Clint passing the torch to a young Kate Bishop. The series will also be set around the end of phase 4 of the Marvel films.

Once again, we’ve had many reports and rumors about who will be cast as the young Kate Bishop, the name that’s popped up the most was Hailee Steinfeld.

Reports stated that she was the front runner for the show, however, Hailee herself said earlier this year that it’s not something she’s focused on. According to https://www.theilluminerdi.com/2020/07/27/hawkeye-hailee-steinfeld-signed/ Hailee has officially signed on to star in the series.

If this is true and she has indeed signed on, we should all come to expect an announcement from Marvel themselves in the coming months since the show is expected to film in Atlanta later this year.
