With the second season finishing up back in April, we finally have our release date for the upcoming third season with a brand new poster to go along with the release date.
The poster itself includes a massive spoiler unless you have read the comics. While the wait between the first and second seasons was over two years, the wait between the second and third seasons has been incredibly short.
Invincible will return to our screens on February 6, 2025, with a full season meaning no mid-season break like season 2. The Invincible X account shared a new look at a poster and if you are unfamiliar with the story within the comics, the poster could contain a big spoiler.
A teaser saw Mark Grayson meeting with Cecil Stedman in a cafe in a similar set-up to the season 2 trailer with Allen the Alien. Cecil is not happy with Mark taking a lengthy break from crime-fighting and tells Mark that he needs more training if he hopes to face the oncoming Viltrumite threat.
While the two have clashed before, whatever happens in season 3 could lead to a major rift in their relationship which will lead to the poster as seen above.
It will be interesting to see how the events of season 3 will play into the fourth season as we know it’s been renewed for a third and fourth season.
