What I Liked

1. The episode immediately begins with Angstrom sending out the evil versions of Invincible into Earth, telling them to cause destruction and mayhem and show the world that it is in fact Mark who is doing this.

2. We then get to see different versions of Invincible destroying different cities as well as fighting different heroes around the world from Russia to New York. I can not wait to see Mark’s reaction to all this destruction coming from people with his face.

3. Seeing different versions of Mark all take on various heroes, with some Marks being more powerful than the last while some Marks easily get taken down. The real Mark joins in some heroes taking on an evil Mark while an Omni-Man version of Mark joins in the fight and evens out the playing field.

4. You know what, Rex has truly come into his own. His storyline from the very first episode has been nothing short of amazing. Seeing him take one for the team while Robot, Monster Girl, and another hero escape this version of Mark and literally seeing Rex make the ultimate sacrifice by blowing himself up was intense.

5. I do like how they’ve upgraded Angstrom to be a more formidable opponent to Mark. Seeing Angstrom use his tech to fight Mark was great but ultimately Mark overcame Angstrom and managed to stop him with the end resulting in Angstrom losing an arm.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when Conquest arrives on Earth. Mark is helping rebuild when he arrives and Conquest threatens him. Mark and Conquest engage in a battle before the episode ends. The next episode is going to be unbelievable.

Standout Character

I would have given this to Mark without a doubt but I’m going to give this to Rex for being the one to get his friends out of danger and make that ultimate sacrifice.

Verdict

This episode was everything I had waited for. Seeing the destruction and heartbreak that these evil versions of Mark had done in only the span of mere hours was crazy insane and the story was absolutely perfect and the episode topped it off by teasing Conquest like he was Thanos.
