Is it time for DC to listen to the fans and bring Batman Beyond and Terry McGinnis into the spotlight and finally debut the character in live-action?
Recently, a brand new live-action Batman Beyond film on YouTube was released with Ryan Potter portraying Terry McGinnis aka Batman Beyond. Now, it’s only a fan film but it just proved that we need to see this character in live-action immediately.
The fan film perfectly captures that animated show energy. The potential for greatness is there.

Terry McGinnis and Batman Beyond were denied a live-action movie, and it even had an animated “SpiderVerse” film canceled. There were even rumors of the continuation of the Arkham games involving Batman Beyond that fans did not get to witness.
I remember watching the animated cartoon back in the day, I remember being amazed by the suit, the surroundings, and the aura that came along with the Batman Beyond mantle. It was a different take on Batman.
Fans have been wanting to see this character in live-action many times. Even to the point of wanting to see him debut in the CW show “Legends of Tomorrow”. I truly hope at some point in the future, James Gunn will make the decision to bring this character to live-action.
It’s what I want, it’s what the fans want, and it’s pretty much agreed upon by all DC fans that this is way overdue.
