Aquaman himself is returning to DC although officially as a new character within the DCU. Jason Momoa will join Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow as Lobo.
Momoa, has long been linked with the Lobo role since before James Gunn became the lead of DC alongside Peter Safran.
Having been very vocal about his love for the character of Lobo, Jason officially confirmed his role in a post on Instagram.
Simply posting a quote from an old interview Jason did, he seemingly captioned it “They called.” With James Gunn then left a comment stating “Welcome, my friend.” seemingly confirming the actor joining the DCU.
Honestly, this is a fantastic casting and I can fully say that Jason Momoa will absolutely nail the role of Lobo simply because of his love for the character himself.
