Jay Lycurgo is joining Dick, Jason, and the rest of the Titans for season 3 as he has been cast as Tim Drake in the upcoming season. It’ll be great to finally see Tim Drake in live-action form.
The role will be recurring so he’ll be popping up throughout the season. Which is always a plus and could lead to more things in the future.
Drake is described as a streetwise kid who’s managed to grow up on the toughest streets without losing his indelible belief in heroism. His easy-going demeanor is backed up by a near-genius mind, a natural detective with a perception of detail far beyond his years. Fans of the “Batman” comics will recall that Drake served with Batman as the third Robin.
You might recognize the face of Lycurgo from being one of the most talked-about shots from The Batman trailer starring Robert Patterson and directed by Matt Reeves.
It’ll be interesting to see how Tim Drake fits into this season of Titans, maybe has something to do with Jason Todd’s Red Hood, or if Batman sends him just like he did with Jason.
I can not wait to see what Lycurgo does with the role, I personally think he’ll kill it, it seems like he’s a huge fan of the character as well which is always a plus.
