Joker 2 looks like a go with Joaquin phoenix set to return Todd Phillips posted 2 photos on Instagram yesterday of the Joker plus Joaquin Phoenix reading what looks like the new script.
This comes as quite the news considering we were under the assumption the first movie was a one-and-done thing. This now doesn’t look to be the case as Joker 2 is well underway.
The first Joker movie did exceptionally well at the box office, earning a massive $1,074,251,311 worldwide according to Box Office Mojo.
With Phoenix set to return, it’s safe to say we’re going to be in for a treat considering how great of a performance he put on in the first movie.
We’re not sure of any details surrounding the movie yet including the plot, estimated release date, etc, but it’s safe to say we’re in for one hell of a ride again.
